Mobile App
A mobile app is designed to run on mobile devices only including phones, tablets and even smart watches. Apps are downloaded onto your device through app stores (Ex: Google Play Store for Android Devices and Apple App Store for iOS devices). The Hungry for the Culture app is a user focused platform with limited capabilities.
Browser
A browser is an interface designed for displaying and navigating website pages on the Internet. You will always use a browser when accessing websites (ex: hungryfortheculture.com). Popular browsers include:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
When accessing advanced features of Hungry for the Culture including adding a listing, claiming a listing or promotions, these functions must be performed in a browser, not the mobile app. We suggest using computer/desktop devices when utilizing these features for an efficient experience.
